So have been following One Piece for a little while now! still heaps behind but i've just gotten past the death of Going Merry! Even though the new ship is freakin awesome i feel like a tribute was in order! so i have drawn the crew so far on the Going Merry! Who knows if i'll finish this! i don't tend to finish pieces muh lately!

Proud to say i drew all these skulls without references without taking forever to do them! been doing a lot of traditional drawing studies of the human skull and proportion etc! unfortunatel drawing skulls and faces is 2 very different things! XD

Oooooooooh so this was random time killer but had lots of fun doing it! my goodness i never thought i'd ever draw again in mircrosoft paint!!!! hahaha but you know it's not as bad as i remember it! you can now actually pick your own colours! :O

Enjoyed drawing this! colouring was really lazy but turned out well! used a mouse for this entire piece because i can't draw straight lines with a tablet XD Apparently this is 2 point perspective but i only drew 1 point! A lot better than my last attempt at perspective! Also the first time i've drawn a city!

Well i was looking at all the different brushes in SAI it seems a shame that i only ever use a simple circle! next time i do some painting i'll have to make a point of using some different brushes!

then i feel like i've been in a bit of a slump lately so i just decided to draw a plain front on picture! i have to work on full body anatomy! bust shots don't help me improve! Look! someone other than Sokka! XD

Profile Head Sketch

Sooooooo studying the head in profile! always been something i've struggled with big time but learned a lot doing this! that the head isn't shapped quite as i thought it was in my mind! funny how seeing everything in 3d everyday we have these preconceptions that are quite different to what they are in reality. Breaking things down helps this!

Oh look at that! it's Sokka XD was going to be some1 else but his hair style allows to show the shape a bit better!

Here are the lines! changed some stuff around! opened Toph's eye for starters! would rather see her eye than having it closed! hahaha and frik it was hard to find the design of her earth bracelet XD I am determined to finish this before Valentine's day! gah! let's see if i can get it together!

Hmm not sure what i think about this! painting practice but i've always had problems drawing faces in profile!
